Exploring Sound

Exploring the digital layering of walking and stitching I create sample recordings in which I digitally layer the audio of walking over the visual of stitching, and the audio of stitching over the visual of walking. The layering of visual and auditory sensations is an ongoing process and something is loop back to and revisit on occasion. At times it feels a step too far away from my the tactility of place and the material engagement central to practice. The recordings became a representation rather than a reconceptualisation of the walking-stitching experience.
